As Trinity League Play Begins, Hopes High for JSerra Football

JSerra Catholic High School has the only undefeated football team (5-0) in the Trinity League.

The Lions are also the only team who have never won a Trinity League game (0-14).

That could change Friday night when The Lions face off against rival Santa Margarita Catholic High School, predicted Steve Fryer, sports columnist for the Orange County Register.

He wrote yesterday that “this team is probably better” than last year’s team, which also started 5-0.

The Los Angeles Times’ Ben Bolch also pointed out the great strides the Lions have made. You can read his column here.
