Torn between the school of her dreams and the reality of playing tennis as a freshman was hard on Tarle when she choose to follow her heart and her legacy, having both parents and her brother attend Penn State, she fought and fought hard to make both dreams a reality, and it paid off.
JSerra tennis coach Kirk Orahood coached Tarle in her senior year here at JSerra and had this to say, “This beats the Rudy byline because she is a true freshman and playing right now, we don’t have to wait until the end of the movie.”
Without taking credit for Tarle’s achievement Coach Orahood gave credit to her parents for raising a fantastic scholar and athlete. Seeing her hard work in her final season at JSerra, Orahood knew that she was destined for greatness. After working hard on the dynamics of doubles play with Coach Orahood, there was nothing stopping Tarle from reaching her goal of her dream school and competitive position on the Penn State Tennis team.
“I am so proud of Stephanie as I am any of my other Division-1 or Wimbledon players” Orahood adds.
Congratulations to Stephanie for all your accomplishments. If this is just the beginning of the movie, we can’t wait to see the end!
