Kyle Shackleford is a “High-Energy Volunteer”

Junior Kyle Shackleford is an accomplished student and swimmer. He has a 4.5 GPA and, as captain of the swim team, has competed on the varsity team since his freshman year.

But it’s his sense of community service that most recently earned him accolades. He was selected as one of OC Family Magazine’s “Shining Students” for his volunteer efforts.

He is one of 25 of JSerra’s Caritas Christi members, president of Safe Rides and spent 10 days earlier this year working in a Peruvian hospice.
