Senior baseball standout Austin Hedges continues to rack up national
recognition for his accomplishments on the field.
The JSerra senior was recently named an AFLAC All-American, one of 38 players across the country to earn the honor, and was also Rawlings Gold Glove winner as best defensive high school player in the country.
His father said he also picked up honors as an All Area Code team member and was picked fourth among the top 10 high school players to watch.
And if that isn’t enough, Baseball America profiled him in June.
“He changes the game so much behind the plate,” JSerra coach Brett Kay.
told the magazine.
