Norbertine Fathers Sing at Segerstrom Hall

The Pacific Symphony performs their best this week at Segerstrom Hall at the Orange County Performing Arts Center


With Carl St.Clair, as conductor the Norbertine Fathers from St. Michael’s Abbey, on vocalists and Paul Jacobs, renowned organist bring Gregorian Chant, Solo Organ Music and
Bruckner: Symphony No. 9.

A summation of his life’s work, Bruckner’s Symphony No. 9 reveals the composer’s distinctive creative genius and sweeping symphonic sound. This 19th-century triumph is preceded by a visit to the 11th century and the rich, worshipful voices and tones of Gregorian chant.
