Tom Waszak Selected as Principal at St. Francis of Assisi

JSerra is proud to congratulate Mr. Tom Waszak on his selection for the position of Principal at St. Francis of Assisi (SFA) Catholic School in Yorba Linda.

In his announcement to the SFA community, Greg Dhuyvetter, Superintendent of Catholic Schools for the Diocese of Orange, said “Mr. Waszak is very excited to be coming to the community of St. Francis, and he anticipates a long and successful collaboration with all school shareholders.”

SFA is a tri-parish school serving the communities of San Antonio de Padua, Santa Clara de Asis, and St. Martin de Porres in north Orange County. The school was founded in September 1998, serves pre- kindergarten through eighth grade students, and is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. Current enrollment consists of 474 students from 320 families within the community.

Dhuyvetter added “Throughout his career, Mr. Waszak has demonstrated excellent educational leadership in all aspects of Catholic education. He is dedicated to the Catholic identity, academic excellence, and long-term success of St. Francis of Assisi school.”

Mr. Waszak has been integral to the formation and foundation of JSerra Catholic High School. He will forever be a part of JSerra’s history and success. We are honored that Mr. Waszak’s daughters, Kelly and Kimberly, will continue their high school education at JSerra and we look forward to seeing him regularly on campus. JSerra congratulates the community of St. Francis of Assisi for selecting an outstanding man as their incumbent principal. We are confident Mr. Waszak will forge a great path of SFA, as he has done at JSerra.
