MLB Futures Await Two JSerra Athletes

Third Baseman Trent Boras

Congratulations to Trent Boras, son of famed sports agent Scott Boras.

Trent, who is committed to play for USC this fall, was drafted last night in day two of the 2011 MLB Draft by the Milwaukee Brewers. It’s another waiting game for a recent JSerra baseball alum to make a decision to continue with his college commitment (Trent would play at USC with brother Shane) or head straight to the pros. Catcher Austin Hedges (UCLA) was drafted in the second round by the San Diego Padres.
