“Thank You” from Mary Victoria Taylor

Special Operations Warrior Foundation Rummage Sale

To our wonderful volunteers,

I cannot say thank you enough to each parent and student volunteers who helped make the Rummage Sale and Car Wash to benefit SOWF such a great success.

I am pleased to announce that we raised more than $6,500 – all of which will go directly to the SOWF to help provide scholarships to the children of parents who died in operational or training missions.

This would not have been possible without the hundreds of volunteers who spent more than a thousand hours working on this event, plus the generous donations we received from both the JSerra community and the community at large.

We received many compliments about the event, including how wonderful the students were – that they were so nice and polite. Good job Lions!

It was such a pleasure to meet so many students and parents who were willing to get up at 0-dark hundred on a Saturday morning and do their part to help such a worthwhile cause.

I thank all of you from the bottom of my heart.
