Songs of Love and Praise from JSerra Choral

The award winning JSerra Catholic High School Choirs will perform their Fall Concert, entitled “Songs of Love and Praise”, Thursday evening, beginning at 6:30, November 3rd at St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church in Knight Hall.

Under the direction of Brian Dehn, this is their Annual Fall Concert and Dinner Fundraiser.

The evening begins at 6:30 and all funds raised go towards the highlight of the year – a performance tour to New York including a solo performance in Carnegie Hall.

JSerra has developed into one of the finer choral programs in Southern California, this is concert not to be missed.

Juan Diego Top 50 Nominatee for Rudy Award

We are thrilled that Temple  is a Top 50 Semifinalist of the High School Football Rudy Awards. 

This program honors players who demonstrate character, courage, contribution and commitment, the exemplary values of football legend Daniel ‘Rudy’ Ruettiger, inspirational figure of the classic football film “Rudy”.

Academic scholarships totaling $25,000 provided by the Trusted Sports Foundation, will be awarded to the 12 Finalists.

A National Selection Committee chaired by Drew Bledsoe and Troy Aikman will determine the nation’s most inspirational players.

A “Fan Favorite” will be determined 100% by fan voting. This national award will be viewed by millions through our partnership with PARADE Magazine.

JSerra Photography Debuts at the Laguna Beach Art Museum

Saturday, October 28 marks a great accomplishment with JSerra’s Artists In Residence program. Opening Night of the Laguna Beach Art Museum’s exhibit “The Best Kept Secret,” featured a selection of JSerra’s photography students.

Under the direction of Regina Stehney, the students had the opportunity to show their work in this retrospective art show-featuring artist from 1965 to 1971 that were also on faculty of UCI.

Hosting JSerra students in the downstairs gallery and displays student photography work from their book “Beauty Perceived” that was recently published through the JSerra Fine Arts department.

The exhibit at the Laguna Beach Art Museum is opened to the public until January 21.
