Junior Ring Mass Wednesday, November 16

The Junior Ring Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2011. Mass will begin at 9:30 a.m. with the Ring Ceremony and a pizza luncheon immediately following.

All this will take place in the Pavilion, and all juniors, their parents, and family members are welcome and encouraged to attend. There is NO cost for the luncheon.

We hope you will come and share this very special occasion.

JSerra Theater Presents “It’s a Wonderful Life”

Start your Christmas season by joining George Bailey on his journey through what could have been, only to realize…”It’s a Wonderful Life.”

This classic Christmas show will play December 2-3 and 9-10 at 7:30 pm, with matinee shows on December 3,4, and 10 at 2:00 pm. Admission is $12.00 for adults and $10.00 for students under 18 years, and can be reserved in the business office. Seating is limited.

Adapted from the classic 1946 film by Frank Capra, “It’s a Wonderful Life” follows George Bailey, a man who has spent his entire life giving of himself for the people of his town, Bedford Falls. He fails to see the value of his life, however, when an $8,000 loan is misplaced before it can be deposited. That Christmas Eve, George realizes he will be held responsible and thrown in jail, his generous loan company will collapse, and Mr. Potter, a malicious millionaire, will finally take over his beloved Bedford Falls.

Enter Clarence, a guardian angel without wings, who falls to earth as George is about to take his life. He shows him how his town, family and friends would have turned out if he had never been born. The choice is up to George- should he really throw it all away?

The JSerra Shepherd’s Christmas Faire and Brunch is looking for Volunteers

Volunteers are needed to help at the Christmas Faire December 3-4.  If you can volunteer to work a shift for the Faire please contact: Diane Reynolds at rreyn@cox.net

The Shepherd’s Christmas Faire is also looking for wrapping paper, ribbon, bows and tape to be donated for our wrapping booth.

We are also looking for large empty baskets to be donated for silent auction items to be packaged in for the Shepherd’s Christmas Brunch.

Donated items can be left at the front desk in the donation bucket.
