Brooke Barnidge committed to playing soccer at Point Loma University, majoring in psychology. “I’m beyond excited to play for Point Loma. It’s everything I had ever wanted since I was a kid. All my training is finally paying off.”
Jonavaughn Williams committed to play football for University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), majoring in business and hotel administration. “I am blessed that UNLV is giving me the opportunity to play football for them, it wasn’t an easy decision but this is where I’m meant to be.”
Sagar Jambusaria committed to play soccer at Northwestern University, hoping to major in kinesiology.
“I am extremely excited to play for Northwestern. No one in my family has ever played a sport at the collegiate level. I’m happy that Northwestern can offer me a strong academic experience as well as athletic.”

Join the JSerra Artists in Residence Program as they host Marvel comic animator Todd Nauk, Thursday, Feb. 2 at 1 p.m. in the Center Room.
Nauk will be speaking about his love of comics, education, and the imagination that took him to reach his dreams.
Nauk is the artist of the best selling comic book of the last decade, Amazing Spider-Man #583: the Spider-Man/Barack Obama Team-Up. Nauck is a well known artist of the comic book industry and works regularly for Marvel and DC Comics, with 17 years of credits including Amazing Spider-Man, Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, Teen Titans Go, and Young Justice, (now a cartoon on Cartoon Network) as well as countless others. Nauck’s art was recently prominently featured on the season eight finale of ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition as well as on episodes of ESPN’s NFL Sunday Countdown and SportsCenter.
