Boys Lacrosse Hosts Laguna Hills Tonight

The 2012 JSerra Lions Lacrosse season will kick off with the first Varsity home game today Tuesday, March 6th at 5:00 p.m. vs. the Laguna Hills Hawks.

To celebrate the first home game, the first 30 JSerra students at the game with student ID will receive a free JSerra Lacrosse T-Shirts (starting at 5:00 p.m., available at the snack bar).

Also, all JSerra students with student ID will receive a free hot dog.

Don’t miss all the action from the sidelines, with a live Twitter feed starting at 5 p.m.

Girls Lacrosse Clinic This Saturday for 4th-8th Graders

JSerra Girls Lacrosse proudly hosts the Loyola Marymount University Women’s Lacrosse Clinic on Saturday, March 10 from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Pavilion Field #3. This is an instructional clinic that will focus on the lacrosse fundamentals and stick skills along with a goalie clinic by LMU Coach Lito Coronel.

Ideal for girls in 4th-8th grade. Cost to participate is $45.00.

Local Teams Do Swimmingly Well

Two local high schools, JSerra Catholic and San Juan Hills, took first and third in a multi-school invitational swim meet Saturday for their boys teams and combined scores of the boys and girls teams.

JSerra took third for the girls team competition.

JSerra hosted the second annual event, which attracted schools as far away as Pasadena and Bellflower. Other local participants included St. Margaret’s Episcopal School and Saddleback Valley Christian School.
