Westin Clements (’16) was recently awarded for his Eagle Scout project, on display at the St. Anne School in Laguna Niguel. The project was a recreation of the 15 stations of the cross, that are permanently placed throughout the St. Anne campus.
“Being honored with the Catholic award was a surprise, receiving the award meant that I was able to do something noticeable for Boy Scouts,” said Clements.
The project took just over four months to complete from ideation to completion. Clements also enlisted the help of Father Damien, at St. Anne to aid in the success of the stations.
“Completing this project was the final step before Eagle Scout to join my dads level. Doing this project meant a lot to me, to be able to join my dad,” said Clements.
After reaching the Eagle Scout level Clements now looks forward to working towards a championship as a defensive end for the Lions.
