Congratulations to the  girls varsity soccer team on their back-to-back victories in the Bellflower and Sunny Hills Tournaments during the Holidays.

The Lions victory in the Bellflower Tournament beat Pasadena Poly 1-0 with minutes left in the game on a goal by Isy Guerry.  In an earlier semi-final game JSerra beat La Serna on penalty kicks to head to the championship game.

JSerra varsity girls are on a historic eleven-game winning streak, with the best season in JSerra’s ten year history.

“Our team has achieved tremendous success in the last two tournaments,  I am proud of their accomplishments. They are working hard, scoring goals and have recorded several shut out victories,” said Rick Young, Varsity Head Coach. “Winning eleven straight games and two Tournament Championships is unprecedented in our girls soccer program and a great way to head into league competition.”
