Lions Take Control of Trinity League Race

JSerra coach Kyle Harrison has his young Lion squad believing. This week, they have upset wins over #5 Santa Margarita, and now #3 St. Margaret’s. This team, composed of mostly freshman and sophomores, put together a very challenging non-league schedule for the 2012 season, second only to Foothill. That difficulty of schedule seems to be paying off for the Lions, now 3-0 in Trinity league play.

JSerra Alum Dustin Himmerich Leads Teen Life Band in Maryland

Dustin Himmerich is the music director for the Life Teen Band at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Rockville, MD and leads worship for our Sunday evening mass. Himmerich also leads worship for the Baltimore Frassati Fellowship, a young adult ministry under the direction of the Dominican Friars in Baltimore. The central part of the ministry is Frassati Night of Worship, an evening of adoration with praise and worship and a talk. Life Teen Camp is not new to Himmerich. In 2008, he served at Covecrest on Summer Staff, and in 2009 he served as a part of the service crew.

“I’ve seen so many hearts and lives transformed at camp in my time there, including my own. It is truly a place where we can come as God’s children and give Him the praise He deserves. It is with great humility that I come to serve and be a part of the Life Teen family.”
