Heather Rosen founded Lions for Africa at JSerra and to date they have raised more than $3,000 to feed body and mind. Heather’s passion and commitment attracted attention from ABC7 who recently featured Heather in their Cool Kids segment.
“Not only just water and stuff, one of the things that Africa Bags does is give them an education. I think that’s what a lot of people take for granted is that they get to go to school. To those kids, school is an honor for them,” said Rosen.
She started the group herself, but very quickly found a way to inspire others to join the cause.

Each year, JSerra recognizes the stellar achievements of our 9-11 grade students at the annual Underclassmen Awards. The awards are presented at an all-school assembly in early June. On June 7, ten awards were given to 22 outstanding JSerra students. Congratulations to the recipients:
